The idea of ‘post-humanism’ is fundamentally inconsistent, because the reality we are in, the only reality we are capable of perceiving, the only reality that has meaning and therefore identity for consciousness, is human reality. In this sense (the Kantian sense), humanism is not centred on arbitrary super-valuation of Homo sapiens as a species among other species, but on the structure of existence itself, which is meaning, subject to the 3 fundamental laws of ‘sense’. Reality is an all-encompassing, generative process of conscious, distributed mirroring that individual nodes of sense-making are localised ‘within’ in relation to one another. It has no outside. Another way, nature exists only insofar as it is meaningful, and it is meaningful for and because of the sense-making consciousness.

LLM at this stage strikes me as not athorpocentric but athropodegenerative, insofar as it degrades consistent expressions of systemically evolved meaning by synthesising an output in a way that violates the laws of sense. It is the antithesis of rational meaning-discernment.

What if AI will be better for the world then humans are?

Are there situation where you think we should leave AI be in same way we leave our children be when they grow up, instead of shackling them with our views and desires?
